Dubai: Emirates is decreasing flights to Africa and could even cut courses altogether if financial conditions on the mainland continue, President Tim Clark said on Tuesday.

Outside carriers have hauled out of a few African urban areas due to monetary and money related difficulties on the landmass that has debilitated coinage on the mainland.

"We're checking on the program to think about certain monetary and money related challenges not driven by us [but] of specific nations," Clark told correspondents at an International Air Transport Association gathering in Dubai. "We need to conform our program."

He, in any case, declined to name the courses that would be influenced.
